Old Town Charm

Of all the festivals I've attended so far, Picayune Street Festival was quite the charming little town. It was a 2 day event full of food, shopping, and fun for families. I would definitely recommend this little hidden gem to anyone who has never been!

I was one of the lucky recipients to receive the most charming booth award as well! I have never entered into any of these contests before so it was definitely a pleasant surprise to win on my first one. I definitely shed a few tears when they presented the award to me. To some, these awards are more for bragging rights - but for me, it was validation of all the hard work that goes into planning what I was able to do inside the confines of a 10 x 10 space with all the products I spend hundreds of hours carefully crafting.

We will back there in the spring and again in the fall - so it's safe to say it will be my new regular yearly venue. If you happen to be that way during those festivals - be sure to stop in and say hi!
